Hello, thanks for joining the list :)
Hi, I'm Bartek
First of all, I'd like to thank you for subscribing to my email list!
You've just entered my little community of ~11000 people interested in C++ :)
I hope you like my extra C++ resources: reference cards and the free book about C++17.
This email is the first in the short series. I'd like to introduce myself and point you to the essential articles and resources on my blog.

Something about me:
I'm Bartek. I live in the beautiful city of Cracow in southern Poland. I'm a programmer with almost 20 years of professional experience.
I got my first coding job in 2007. Since then, I've mostly written C++ for various projects: gamedev, large-scale applications, desktop Windows applications, and OpenGL drivers, DirectML, and OpenVino.
During my Master's studies, I also got into teaching - I prepared lectures about graphics programming, game development or general programming. I loved this, and I decided that I'd like to continue my teaching experience.

Some of the rules of the blog and the newsletter:
- Usually once or twice per month (early in the week), you can expect a new email, generally with a link to my latest article.
- Update 2026: In the past, I could send emails weekly, but this pace has slowed and is more infrequent now.
- Occasionally, I also write about news, books, courses, and tools I've used/read.
- This email is the first in the introduction series; you'll get four more over the next two/three weeks. I hope that way you'll know the blog and my background a bit better.
