Why we love puzzles for learning 🧩
We invest a lot in educational puzzles
Project-based learning has its perks, but puzzles have a few special advantages:
With projects, you’re only able to build what you already know. Puzzles force you to engage with unfamiliar topics.
Puzzles give you direct feedback on whether you understood the topic.
Busy engineers are better able to organize their time around puzzles. It’s easy to schedule “1 puzzle per day” and make steady progress in learning.
For this reason, we’ve designed and published a lot of puzzles:
Solidity Exercises (beginner Solidity drills)
Solidity Riddles (18 security-oriented Capture the Flag exercises)
Huff Puzzles (learn the EVM through building simple programs in Huff assembly)
Gas Optimization Puzzles (write Solidity code that meets an efficiency threshold)
Uniswap V2 Puzzles (learn the features and gotchas of Uniswap V2)
Zero Knowledge Puzzles (learn ZK circuit programming in Circom incrementally)
Please give those repositories a star! Here are the accompanying learning resources for the puzzles above:
In our Solidity Bootcamp, students regularly tell us that our Huff Puzzles are the most enjoyable homework.
Also, some major web3 companies use those repositories to screen applicants, so you might just give yourself a headstart. 😎
