Is AI a bubble? A beginner's briefing

Hi, Jamie here,

You may have noticed two things happening at once. People are using AI to do extraordinary things. And people are investing amounts of money in AI that previously existed only in lawsuits involving royalty.

So is it a bubble?

I've written a quick, plain-English briefing on why people are worried: what every AI question actually costs, why some companies are priced as though the future has already happened, why everybody seems to be everybody else's customer, and why Anthropic just reported an $80 billion loss (mostly on paper.)
