Welcome to Pirate Wires, an American media company reporting at the intersection of technology, politics, and culture.

A few things you can expect from us:

We write about what we believe is true, real, and important, in a world that doesn’t seem to believe in much anymore.

Monday through Friday, you’ll receive the Daily in your inbox first thing. These are 3 rapid-fire takes on what’s happening in the world. Sometimes intelligent. Often hilarious. Always controversial.

You can also read three pieces on our site each month, along with select features unlocked by our (based) sponsors.

If it’s ever too much for you, you can adjust your preferences here.

But, in the spirit of honesty, we keep the good stuff hidden under the counter.

For access to all posts and paid subscriber benefits, you can upgrade your subscription here.Otherwise, keep an eye out for the Daily in the morning.

P.S. Our whole team reads every email. You can reply to this, or any of our newsletters, to reach us anytime. Of course, our paid subscribers always get a response, but if you’re clever enough, you never know….
