Tim's Weekly DoltHub Update

Tim Sehn

This is the weekly CEO update from DoltHub. I'm Tim, the CEO of DoltHub.

This was finally the week the security dam broke. Agents have been looking for cracks and found them. Critical vulnerabilities were found in PHP, Node, Java, and other widely deployed frameworks. This ain't no joke. Stay safe out there.

Doltgres on DoltHub

Speaking of Node, DoltHub got a Node upgrade yesterday.

But that wasn't the only upgrade this week! Doltgres databases now get the full DoltHub experience. You can browse Doltgres databases, make and merge Pull Requests, and visualize your commit log. The full Dolt experience is now available to Doltgres users on DoltHub. Get pushing Postgres fans.

Next up: DoltLite.

New Dolt Video Drop

Dolt's magic comes from its unique Prolly Tree-based storage engine. I wrote the Prolly Tree opus two-and-a-help years ago. If you don't have patience for that 3,000 word nonsense, can I interest you in a 3 minute video?

Happy Birthday Beads

Happy first birthday to Beads!

Beads has been a proud Dolt user since February 2026. Many of you probably read this email because of Beads. As a birthday gift, I wrote about what Beads is, how it uses Dolt, and what else makes it cool. Try it. It's the OG agentic memory tool.

Until next week. As always, just reply to this email if you want to chat.
