Apple announced MacBook Pro 14” with M6 and iMac with M6
Both computers got spec bumps, but most important update comes tomorrow
Apple unveiled MacBook Pro 14” with M6 chip.
Update is essentially a spec bump for base model. Apple promises increased performance powered by M6 chip and up to 24 hours battery life.
The 12-core GPU delivers up to 30 percent faster graphics and up to 25 percent faster AI workloads when compared to M5.
Preorders start October 28, with availability starting Friday, November 6.
Apple also presented updated iMac with M6.
Updated iMac also gets updated specifications without changing the design, including same finishing colors.
There is now an option for power adapter with 2.5Gb ethernet which costs additional $30.
These updates are mostly minor updates compared to expected announcement coming Wednesday – MacBook Pro with OLED touchscreen display.
