More flexible Woo blocks. Safer PHP.
Hey, there!
It's been a busy month for those of us building on PHP, which is something like two-thirds of the internet. We hope your hosting was well-managed, your updates smooth and your downtime minimal. We have a new WooCommerce release to catch up on, another in beta, and useful work underway in themes, accessibility, and WordPress core. Here are the updates we think Woo developers should see this month.
WooCommerce 11.3 is coming
WooCommerce 11.3 is shaping up to be a massive release, with 1,300+ PRs and over 100 contributors. 11.3 adds more styling controls to storefront blocks, new discount displays for the On-Sale Badge, smoother mobile Product Gallery swipes, and payment-method filtering in Analytics Orders. There's also more developer updates than we have room to print.
Read our full breakdown of what's coming for users and developers, and what you might want to test ahead of time. The release is scheduled for the week of November 9.
