Welcome aboard - Let's talk about Kotlin!

Hey, I'm glad you're here!

Thanks so much for signing up for my newsletter! If you're like me, you probably try not to subscribe to too many emails - so I'm honored you made room for me!

A little about me - I'm Dave Leeds, the guy behind those cartoon-illustrated Kotlin articles you might have seen at typealias.com. I also publish videos and livestreams on YouTube. I've been working with Kotlin since 2017 - and loved it so much that I started writing about it later that year.

I've been a professional software developer for over 25 years, and along the way, I've found that the best way to explain tough programming concepts is with illustrations, metaphors, and stories that make them stick.

Here's what you can expect from my emails:

• A heads-up whenever I publish a new article, video, or livestream.
• Highlights from big Kotlin or Android announcements, along with a few thoughts about them.
• Downloadable cheat sheets and other goodies, just for fun!
• Occasional surveys to make sure I'm creating stuff that you're excited about.
• Early notice about new premium projects that I launch.

Now that you know a little about me, I'd love to hear about you! Feel free to hit Reply and introduce yourself. Let me know what you're currently learning or creating with Kotlin. I'd love to hear from you!

And keep an eye on your inbox - over the next week, I'll share a little more about my story, and how I'm working to help you level up your Kotlin skills.

Thanks,
Dave
