The problem with copying snippets from Stack Overflow and other forums
Stack Overflow seems to have a solution for every problem, right?
But there's one BIG problem: sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
It’s far from reliable.
Asking a question on Stack Overflow is like asking Facebook which car you should buy.
You end up with a bunch of conflicting answers from people you don't know.
Most people think they know the answer, but they don’t know enough about your application to give you an informed answer.
And that’s key.
Think of it this way:
You're the only one who truly understands your application.
You’re the one who needs to understand the problem.
You’re the one who needs to understand what you did to fix it.
If you don’t understand what was wrong or how you fixed it, how can you release your application with confidence knowing it will work?
And how will you grow as an expert?
Without this level of understanding, you’re relying on other people and their suggestions. You’re hoping their way will magically work and solve all your problems.
But you’re the one who will have to answer service calls at night and on weekends if your application doesn’t work.
Copying a random ‘solution’ can feel like the easiest and fastest way to fix your application, but it actually takes you more time in the end.
Once the solution you copied doesn’t work, you’re back at square one.
You see, there is no substitute for really understanding your Java persistence layers.
That’s why it’s so important to understand what you’re doing when you fix things - and not create a new problem when trying to solve an old one.
And that's why I'm doing things differently with the Persistence Hub.
I want to share my experience with you and give you everything you need to truly understand how your persistence layer works.
I'll 'dissect' each feature, show you the statements it triggers, and explain in which situation you should use or avoid it.
That means you get to see everything and learn EXACTLY how to use each feature to build maintainable and scalable persistence layers.

PS. For 39€ a month (around €1 a day), you get access to all my training materials to help you truly understand the persistence frameworks you're using.
I'm looking forward to welcoming you to the Persistence Hub.
