My Best Content
Hi there! This is Dan Vega. Thank you for signing up for my free email newsletter. In today’s email, I’d like to introduce you to danvega.dev and recommend some of my best content. If you have any specific content requests, please reply to this email and let me know what you’re looking for.
Blog
I published my first blog post on October 7, 2005, which means I’ve been blogging for a long time. I started because I wanted a real-world project to work on, creating my own personal blog using a collection of open-source software. Over the years, I’ve written well over 1,000 blog posts, although I’ve pruned many of them for SEO purposes. I love to write about whatever I’m working on, so you’ll find articles on a range of topics. If you have a chance, you can dig through the archives, but here are a few of my favorite posts:
YouTube
I love creating videos for YouTube. When I started, it was outside of my comfort zone, but it has been really rewarding for me personally and professionally. I enjoy the entire process of taking an idea and turning it into a final published video that viewers can watch once I upload it. If you have the chance, please check out my YouTube channel. Here are a few of my favorite videos:
Courses
I currently have over 160,000 students worldwide, which would have seemed crazy to me when I started teaching. I offer courses that range from one hour to over 14 hours of content. The best place to find up-to-date information and on all of my courses is on the course landing pages.
Podcast
I run the Spring Office Hours podcast along with friend and coworker DaShaun Carter and we explore what’s new in the world of Spring. This is your chance to stay connected to what’s happening with the Spring Framework, related projects, and the community. During this live show, Dan and DaShaun will review the current news, demo a Spring related project they find interesting and answer any questions you might have.
