Amazon ChroniclesOct 29, 2026

Amazon Chronicles is a freemium publication, an experiment in unlocking the commons. It is funded by direct subscriptions from readers like you. If you’d like the full experience, please consider becoming a paying subscriber.

Until we get 200 paying subscribers (let’s call them “members”), free subscribers only get the occasional free newsletter. We need the full 200 members in order to unlock free updates for everybody.

And at 400 members, the newsletter goes from once to twice a week. And at 1000 members, it goes to four times a week. The more members sign up, the better the newsletter gets, for paying and free subscribers both!
