Thanks for signing up for Endarkenment.

This project retired in 2023, but as of late 2025 I’ve reinstated some of the archived work from the early years on Substack.

If you’re looking for my Ulf Söderberg interview, it was (finally!) released on Paragraph in December 2024.

It’s my magnum opus — my proudest work as a music journalist. I hope everyone reading these words will also read that interview, as it was my last.

I had to “retire” as a music journalist. My book manuscript (Endarkenment: The Esoteric in Dark Ambient Music and Culture) remains unfinished due to insufficient funding for production costs.

However, I’m now working with Studio Slowcore, and I hope to release a special collection of work from Endarkenment eventually, so feel free to follow me there (and let me know you found me through Endarkenment).
