It’s good to have you here!

You will start receiving updates right here in your inbox on Mondays. The Monday newsletter is a slice of life, with recipes, restaurant & product recs, and reads for the week ahead.

In the meantime, you can say hello on Instagram! If you’re looking to shop or get a gift, check my gift guide And if you’d like to say hi to other TNHS readers, this intro thread is a great place to start!

As a thank you for signing up, I wanted to share a few favorite hot sauces!

  1. Shaquanda will Feed You: I run out of this way too quickly and it’s a Brooklyn based business, like me!

  2. Valentina. I first tried this hot sauce at Honest Tom’s Taco Shop in West Philadelphia and I’ve never looked back. It’s nice and thick and so good on eggs, tacos, or rice and beans. Get it at the local grocery store, usually in the Latin American/International aisle.

  3. Chili Crisp. Chili crisp is an oil based condiment from China. Lao Gan Ma is the classic for a reason and the most widely available. It packs a punch and is amazing on rice, in soups, or in any dish that needs a real kick.

  4. Red Clay Hot Sauce! I love this Charleston based brand’s hot honey and their classic hot sauce.

If you’d like to introduce yourself or need a recommendation, reply to this email. I love getting to know members of this community :)

xo, Abigail
