MISSION SUCCESS: Rocket Lab's 99th Electron launch

Rocket Lab has successfully launched its 99th Electron rocket to deploy the next QPS-SAR satellite to space for iQPS - our tenth dedicated launch for the company to build out their synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation that provides near-real time images of Earth through cloud and at night.

'The Sea God Surveys' launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 at 5:41 a.m. NZDT on November 3, 2026 to a 575km low Earth orbit.

A replay of Rocket Lab's launch broadcast is available on Rocket Lab's YouTube channel, the Rocket Lab website, and on X @RocketLab.

Double-digits down and our century mark is next! Electron's 100th launch is scheduled to take place from Launch Complex 1 NET November 14, 2026 with another QPS-SAR satellite delivery to low Earth orbit for iQPS called "The Mountain God Rises".

Reaching 100 launches is an unprecedented milestone for a commercial small-lift orbital rocket and a threshold rarely crossed in modern spaceflight. Over its 99 missions to date, Electron has rewritten the playbook when it comes to launch for small satellites, and delivering an Earth-observation satellite for iQPS to space on our 100th launch reflects the very mission that started it all: opening up access to space to improve life on Earth.

See you on the pad for launch #100.
