Infrastructure in TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, Java
Hi friend,
I'm Adam, a community engineer at Pulumi. I've spent a lot of time thinking about why infrastructure feels harder than it should, and I keep coming back to the same thing: the tools everyone uses aren't built for how infrastructure actually grows.
Pulumi lets you define cloud infrastructure using general-purpose languages like TypeScript, Python, Go, and C#. Which means you get:
- The full support of your IDE, including autocomplete, rich types, error checking, and refactoring
- Abstractions you can reuse across services and environments
- Tests that run before you deploy
- Packages from npm, PyPI, NuGet, or Go modules
- Code that AI can help you iterate on
If that sounds interesting, the best way to see it is to get your hands dirty. Try spinning up an EC2 instance (or the Azure/GCP equivalent) with this tutorial. Deploy a cloud server
And I'd love to hear what kind of infrastructure challenges you're dealing with right now. Send me a note. I read every one.
Cheers,
Adam
