Welcome to The Week In Defence from editor Kelly Brown

Dear reader,

Thank you for signing up to The Week In Defence newsletter.

By subscribing, you're supporting the work of our expert defence correspondent Freddie Webb and making sure you don't miss any of the big stories.

Each week, we'll bring you the biggest defence stories alongside Freddie's analysis of what matters to Portsmouth and beyond.

To deliver on that, we need your help.

Click on this link to tell us what you like about our defence coverage, what you think we could do better and the subject you want us to cover.

We'll read every response, which will all help us write exactly what you want and how you want it.

To ensure you receive our emails, make sure you add us to your contacts list and get us in the right inbox.

To do that on Android, click on the icon next to the name of the newsletter when you open it. A pop-up will appear, where you just click on the + to add us to the list.

If you’re looking at this email on your desktop in Gmail, just click and drag this email to the 'Primary' tab and you’ll be all set.

On an iPhone, if our newsletter doesn’t appear then open your junk mailbox and click on the message you want to restore. Now tap on the folder icon at the bottom, then tap Inbox from the list that appears.

All the best,

Kelly Brown, Editor
