FYLD and Skello take gold, Metycle secures €131.7M credit facility
NOVEMBER 2026
Hello John 👋,
It’s fair to say our portfolio companies pulled their weight this month and a great deal of it came in copper and aluminum. Metycle secured a €131.7M credit facility to keep recycled metal moving to industrial buyers and smelters. FYLD and Skello each brought home gold, five of our companies also featured across three rankings, with Qevlar AI making all three. Two Partechies shared perspective: Boris on the Serial VC podcast on eleven years of seed investing, and Alison in Tech Funding News on who really gets a foot in the door in Paris. Grab a warm drink and read on.

Portfolio News
Metycle [Seed], the Cologne-based company supplying recycled copper and aluminum to industrial buyers and smelters worldwide, secured a €131.7M credit facility from Rivonia Road Capital to scale its supply of secondary metals. Founded in 2022, Metycle brings together global trading, AI-enabled SmartSorting Hubs, and TrustTrack, its digital verification platform, to make secondary supply predictable from source to smelter. The facility finances trades from supplier payment through to buyer settlement, which means faster execution for suppliers and larger, more consistent flows of specified feedstock for buyers. Over the last 12 months, Metycle traded €103M of secondary metals across 15 countries, up 150% year on year. A business model with real mettle! 🔩
FYLD [Impact], the AI-powered frontline intelligence platform for the infrastructure sector, won High Growth Company of the Year at the GP Bullhound Allstars Awards in London, a night dedicated to celebrating Europe’s top founders, investors, and companies. Thanks to FYLD and their platform, field teams record short videos instead of filling in forms, and its AI functionality spots safety, quality, and delivery risks before they escalate. The company’s recent numbers speak for themselves: 82% year-over-year growth in 2025, US revenue up more than 60% in the first half of 2026, up to 48% fewer worksite injuries and incidents, and a productivity uplift of 12%+ for field teams. Congrats to Shelley and the whole team: the grass is clearly greener on the FYLD side! 🏆
RockFi [Venture], Orus [Seed], Qevlar AI [Venture], NPco [Seed], and VSORA [Seed] made their mark on three of the season’s lists. LinkedIn’s Top Startups France 2026, the 20 most promising French startups of the year, featured three of ours for the first time: RockFi, the private wealth manager working with independent advisors on its own tech platform, Orus, the insurtech making business insurance simple for SMBs and freelancers, and Qevlar AI, the AI SOC platform whose autonomous agents investigate cyber alerts. Qevlar AI also entered the Sifted AI 100, Europe’s most promising AI startups of 2026, and joined NPco and VSORA in the French Tech 2030 class of 2026. NPCo builds physics simulators that model complex industrial systems in seconds, while VSORA designs AI inference chips in France to cut the cost and energy of running AI in data centers. 🏅
Skello [Growth], the HR and scheduling software built for managers of frontline teams, won the LBO Tech prize at the CFNEWS Tech Awards 2026, a few months after Bridgepoint invested €200M in the company. Planning one week for a frontline team of 20 means juggling availability, peak hours, overtime and some 50 legal rules. Skello handles this for more than 30,000 companies. Cofounder and CEO Quitterie Mathelin-Moreaux also sat down with Matthieu Stefani on Génération Do It Yourself to tell the story she has been writing for 10 years with cofounder Emmanuelle Fauchier-Magnan. Next shift on the schedule: celebration! 🎉
Hyground [Seed], the AI SRE agent for complex enterprise infrastructure, is bringing AI into the IT operations of CMA CGM, the world’s third-largest container shipping company. Deploying AI safely across a web of systems this vast is no small feat. Now on board, Hyground’s agents can detect, triage, and resolve incidents before they reach the business. Keeping CMA CGM afloat. 🚢
In the Media Corner
Boris, one of the GPs of our Seed team, sat down with Pierre Davadan on Serial VC to share what 11 years of seed investing have taught him: why his top five no's beat his top five investments, why fast growth proves less and less in the AI era, and why the team remains the one constant at seed. Listen to the full episode here (in French). Sometimes being right once is all it takes. 🎧
Who actually gets into the Paris tech scene? Tech Funding News put the question to another of the partners on our Seed team, Alison, and to Alexis Pawlik, cofounder and co-CEO of Pearl [Seed]. Alison drew a clear line between schools and privilege: “You need to have a strong brain. You don’t need to come from a super elite background to succeed.” Alexis took another route, via an IUT and KEDGE, then Airbnb, Meta, and Pigment, and when he left to start Pearl, investors came to him.
