Introducing Noted Giveaways: A New Place to Find Free Homelab Gear
Noted Giveaways is here! Discover handpicked homelab and PC hardware giveaways, all manually reviewed and approved. No endless lists of junk promotions designed to harvest your email. Just worthwhile opportunities to win gear for your next build.
I've always enjoyed coming across a good hardware giveaway, especially when it's something I could actually use in my homelab. The problem is finding the good ones. There are plenty floating around Reddit and other communities, but there's also a lot of junk to sort through.
That's why we've launched Noted Giveaways, a new section dedicated to sharing giveaways that might interest our readers.
The idea is pretty simple. We want to help you discover opportunities to win mini PCs, NAS devices, networking equipment, and other hardware without spending your afternoon digging through Reddit threads.
But there's something important I want to mention about how we're handling this.
Every giveaway listed on Noted is manually reviewed and approved before it appears on the page.
I have absolutely no interest in filling the page with hundreds of questionable giveaways just to make it look busy. We've all seen those promotions that promise an expensive piece of hardware, only to send you through a dozen forms asking for your email address and social media follows. Half the time, you wonder whether there's even a real prize at the end.
That's not what I want this page to become.
I'd rather share a handful of worthwhile opportunities than bury readers in promotions that exist primarily to harvest personal information.
Most of the giveaways we feature are organized by hardware companies or outside communities. We're simply helping you discover them. If we host one ourselves, you'll see a Hosted by Noted badge so there's no confusion about who's running it.
The page is now live, and we'll continue adding giveaways as we find and approve them. You'll also find a dedicated Giveaways button in our mobile PWA navigation.
You can browse the new Giveaways page here and see what's currently available.
This is part of our latest site update, and you can read the other changes in the Noted 3.1.6 changelog.
Hopefully, someone in the Noted community ends up with a nice new piece of hardware for their homelab. That alone would make this little addition worthwhile.
