[Event Invite] Demo: Graph-Based Tax Fraud Investigation
Hi ,
An invoice from a small supplier looks routine on its own. It looks different once you see that the supplier shares a director with the company paying it, but that connection sits in a different file from the invoice.
Redfield built a prototype that connects those files for investigators, and it won an award at a hackathon run by the Belgian Tax Authority. On Thursday, November 5, Jacob Coles will show exactly what his team built.
Jacob will walk through the whole workflow live:
- An LLM pulls companies, people, accounts and transactions out of unstructured files and writes them to Memgraph
- Graph queries find payment chains and conflicts of interest that sit several hops apart
- Investigators ask questions in plain language, without needing to know graph technology
That last step runs on Lore, a new Memgraph tool that Jacob will show on a community call for the first time.
If you’re building RAG over documents that can’t leave your environment, this session is for you.
