[Event Invite] Your agent forgot everything you told it yesterday
Hi ,
In July, Quark Labs built a knowledge graph over public company filings live on our Community Call. This time the graph is about your own work: what your coding agent learned, and how to keep it.
Your coding agent starts every session from zero. Whatever it learned yesterday is gone the next time you open it, including the decision you made, the fix that worked, and the workflow you explained twice.
Spend a morning driving Claude Code, then open Codex to review the result. The repository survives the handoff. The reasoning, the approaches already tried and the decisions made along the way usually do not, so you become the bridge, copying context from one session to the next.
AI memory changes that arrangement. The memory lives outside the agent, in a graph that every agent writes to and recalls from.
On this call, Ante Javor walks through how we built AI memory on Memgraph and how you can build your own. The build is a reference implementation in Memgraph’s AI Toolkit. It installs in one line for Claude Code or Codex and stores three things as one graph you can open with Cypher: what your agent knows, what it did, and how it works.
If you lead an engineering or AI team, this is memory as infrastructure you own. Sessions are recorded and reconciled on your own machines, secrets are redacted before storage, and the result is a graph your team can inspect, govern and share across agents.
If you build with coding agents or agent SDKs, you get the working parts: hooks that record each prompt, reply and tool call, an MCP server that serves recall and memory back to the agent, and a reconciliation step that turns sessions into a knowledge graph. Open it, query it, change it.
In this session, we’ll cover:
- The install and the first recall. One command finds or starts Memgraph, connects your agents, and opens every new session with a note on where you left off.
- Three memory types in one graph. How sessions, actions, skills and saved memories are modelled, and what a Cypher query over them looks like.
- How to make it yours. Where to change the ontology, add a custom agent, or extend the graph for your own workflow.
