Your Linux server works. How secure is it?

Jason Cannon

Hello there,

Your Linux server can be running fine and still have security gaps.

User accounts may have more access than they need. Files may have overly broad permissions. Unnecessary services may be exposed to the network.

When everything is working, it’s easy to put off checking those settings.

If you're wondering where to start, here's what Lionel Moreland wrote in his review of my Linux Security and Hardening course:

"New to linux but I am working on hardening a rhel server and this is good info I needed to get started."

The course walks through account security, sudo, SSH hardening, firewalls, and file permissions with explanations and demonstrations.

You can see the full course outline and the current $29.99 offer here:

All the best,
