LavinMQ 2.10 is here, with a sneak peek at 2.11

LavinMQ team

What’s new at LavinMQ

You last heard from us at the end of August, just before the autumn conference season kicked off. Since then, we’ve visited tech conferences in three countries, shipped a new release, got the next one ready to test, and hosted our second LavinMQ Code Summit.

LavinMQ 2.10

This release adds MQTT topic permissions, Prometheus metrics for per-queue deliveries and inter-node replication, and also reworked Shovels for better error handling.

Read the full release notes for LavinMQ 2.10, or see how to lock down MQTT topics with topic permissions.

Sneak peek: LavinMQ 2.11

The next release is already available as a release candidate. The biggest addition is automatic retries with backoff. Rejected messages return after increasing delays, and they’re dead-lettered once they hit the attempt limit. The release also adds a new exchange type that routes MQTT messages to AMQP queues, plus redesigned management UI charts.

Want to try it? Grab the 2.11 release candidate on GitHub and tell us what you think.

LavinMQ Code Summit 2026: bigger, better and bolder

On October 15, the LavinMQ Code Summit returned to Skellefteå with three times as many participants as last year. Every challenge ran on LavinMQ, and for some teams, it was their first time using a message broker. By the end of the day, they had built and presented some impressive demos.

See the winners and photos in our Code Summit 2026 recap.

Meet the team behind LavinMQ

When you open a support ticket or read a release note, there’s a person behind it. We sat our colleagues on a sofa, hit record, and asked off-script questions.

Put some faces to the names in our unscripted team video.

Meet & greet

We just got back from MQ Summit in Haarlem, two days of talks, labs, and hallway conversations with people who care about messaging as much as we do. Missed it? Watch the recorded talks and catch up on the sessions.

Next stops on the conference tour! Stop by our booth to talk about message queuing, share your use case, and pick up some merch.

Breakfast lightning talks at YOW!
Grab breakfast with us and catch a quick lightning talk before the conference gets going. Find us in Melbourne on December 4 and in Brisbane on December 8, 8.00-8.45 AM both days.
