The October Issue of the Joomla Community Magazine is out!

Leadership Change for the Joomla Community Magazine!

54 magazine issues.

108 magazine meetings.

30+ JCM Happiness Talks (see interview in this edition of the magazine).

182 articles written.

958 articles edited and/or reviewed.

And this, the newsletter for the October issue, is where it ends for me (OK - newsletter-wise that is).

This magazine issue will be my last as a Team Leader. I will stay on as a member of this wonderful team, but the team will have a new leader: the awesome Louise Hawkins. Isn’t that… you may wonder - yes it is: the same Louise Hawkins who won the J!Award for the best magazine article of the year (read more here: https://community.joomla.org/jawards/winners). So from now on, your very own magazine has an Award Winning Team Leader!

In case you're wondering (I know you are): I’m not leaving because I don't like it anymore. I'm not making a door slamming exit. I don't have Volunteer Burnout. On the contrary: I want to move on to another team within Joomla, and I can’t do it when I’m still leading the JCM.

It has been my pleasure to lead this team. I love the people, I love the creativity, I love the excellent articles everyone has come up with over the years.

For you, my favourite reader, I wish the Joomla Community Magazine will remain a source of inspiration and knowledge for a long, long time.

And I would like to say thanks to you. For reading our content. For sharing it with the rest of the world (please keep doing this). For commenting on articles. And for reaching out to us, with both questions and kudos. Thank you!

In pretty much every newsletter I gave you a general overview of what’s in this month’s issue, but there’s a list of articles right below this, so actually I’m not going to do that this time. Figure it out for yourself 🙂

So that's it for me. Keep reading the magazine. Share, like and comment, pay Joomla forward and influence the living daylights out of everyone.

Enjoy!
