Dear interoperability community,

The agenda for SEMIC 2026 is now available! Join us in Dublin on 30 November for a day of insights, practical workshops and knowledge-sharing on semantic interoperability and digital government.

Organised by the European Commission, with the support of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, SEMIC 2026 will explore the theme “Interoperable Europe driving competitiveness” and how interoperability can help public administrations make better use of digital investments and deliver more connected public services.

The programme combines strategic discussions with practical workshops on AI for public services, interoperable data spaces, semantic modelling and the discovery and reuse of semantic assets. The keynote by Dr Aida Kamišalić Latifić, Assistant Professor and Researcher at the University of Maribor and former State Secretary at Slovenia's Ministry of Digital Transformation, will explore the role of interoperability in driving European competitiveness.

The programme also offers opportunities to connect and exchange ideas beyond the sessions. Discover initiatives at the SEMIC EXPO, hear about projects and use cases at the Pitching Corner, and celebrate public sector innovation at the Public sector tech watch awards. Whether you work on policy, data or digital service delivery, SEMIC offers an opportunity to exchange experiences and discover approaches that others can reuse.

We invite you to explore the agenda and register for SEMIC 2026.

Read our latest article for more details on the sessions, workshops and activities planned for the day.

We look forward to welcoming you in Dublin or online on 30 November!

Kind regards,

The Interoperable Europe team
