Welcome to Our Newsletter

Hello ,

Welcome to HoaQ. We’re so glad you’re here!

In 2020, Nubi Kay’ and Joe Kinvi decided to bring a group of friends together to invest in early-stage startups across Africa and its diaspora. What started as a small community of believers has now grown into the largest collective of founders, operators and investors investing in businesses and projects across Africa and its Diaspora.

Over the course of our existence, our community has successfully backed companies like LemFi, Chowdeck, Raenest, Audiomob and more. We do more than investing. We are a community first, and we want you to join us, whether you want to invest or want to be at our next event (virtual and in-person), get a job with one of our portfolio companies, or connect with other investors in our network.

We’ve organised events in Lagos, London, Paris, Dubai, San Francisco, Nairobi, and we look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming gatherings. If you want to stay plugged into everything we’re hosting, subscribe to our event calendar on Luma here so you never miss a session.

What should you expect?

By joining our mailing list, you’ll receive our biweekly newsletter featuring ecosystem highlights, new deals, founder & portfolio spotlights, and the latest updates on the conversations shaping African and its Diaspora’s innovation. Think of it as your inside look at how founders, operators, and investors across the globe are innovating.

Beyond our newsletter, you can find us on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Our website also has more information about our work, team and portfolio companies.
