People kept asking for my AI tool

Simon from Galaxies.dev

Hey Galactic Dev - Simon here πŸ‘‹

Almost all the art in Tiny Harvest comes from a little AI tool I built for myself.

Crops, tools, buildings, icons - hundreds of assets, and I didn't draw any of them by hand.

And whenever I showed it, people asked the same thing: can I use this?

For a long time the answer was no. It was a private tool, full of shortcuts that only made sense to me. I had tried to turn it into a product twice before, and both attempts went nowhere.

This time I did one thing differently: I cut it down to one core loop - type a prompt, get a game asset - and made exactly that buyable.

This week's video walks through the whole build, from private tool to a real SaaS that anyone can sign up for and pay for:

Auth, credits, a dashboard, subscriptions, webhooks, testing everything in the sandbox - and then going live. The full source code is linked under the video, and you can try the finished app at https://spritefoundry.io

Payments are where most side projects stall. In the video my AI agent uses the PayPal AI Toolkit to create the product and subscription plan, the JS SDK handles checkout, and webhooks make sure the server - never the browser - decides who is Pro.

🌱 And if you haven't tried Tiny Harvest yet: it's my cozy farming RPG built with React Native - and most of its art came from that tool. Free on iOS and Android.
