Welcome to Brainfood 🧠
Hey 👋
So glad you hit the subscribe button 🙏
You’ll now get Brainfood twice a week, with original takes on fintech, AI and the future of money.
My mission is to bring you something different, deeper, and that makes you go “hmm.”
Here’s some popular recent work to check out.
🧠 Tokenmaxxing is stupid until it isn’t. Companies are burning AI tokens costing millions of dollars, and ROI is unclear. Companies are beginning to route tokens, observe them, and make better use of their AI investment. This post explores the operating model companies are building around their token usage.
🧠 Revolut built a foundation model for money. Revolut took their massive dataset and looked at customer events (logins, screen taps, payments) over time. With 26 million customers and 24 billion customer events, their model was +130% at credit scoring and +65% better at fraud recall.
🧠 Stablecoins the 24×7 money software. Tokenized deposits are money that rests. Stablecoins are money that moves, anywhere, 24×7 to any compatible bit of software. Counterintuitively, there are multiple, positive business cases for banks.
