[Embedded Artistry] Welcome!

Hello John Doe,
Building reliable embedded systems is hard. Constant pressure to ship faster, requirements that change after hardware is locked, and teams stuck with outdated practices only makes it harder. It's no wonder we keep hearing the same frustrations:
"Every team I work on seems to be recreating the same problems and solutions over and over again."
"I'm tired of wading through blogs to find a rare gem. Everything is out-of-date, lacking depth, or just a vendor sales pitch."
"I work on a small team with nobody around to give me guidance on best practices or career growth."
We get it. That's exactly why we started Embedded Artistry.
I'm Phillip Johnston. I've built embedded systems over 17+ years across defense, consumer electronics, manufacturing, and automotive - including at Apple. My partner Rozi brings 12 years of iPod/iPhone manufacturing experience, as well as years spent managing projects in publishing and advising startups. Together, we've shipped over 21 products and consulted with dozens of companies.
We created Embedded Artistry because there's almost no in-depth intermediate and advanced content for building production embedded systems. We explore challenges around changing requirements, reliability, maintainability, testability, architecture, debugging, and modern development practices – all while helping you stay sane.
Here's what you can expect:
- Your first resource: Download our playbook for writing portable embedded software. You'll reference it the next time you need to write some platform-independent code (how about that next device driver?).
- Deep technical content: Our 450+ free articles, open-source libraries, courses, and other resources. We cover everything from low-level programming to technical leadership.
- Subscriber perks: Discounts on memberships and courses, invitations to private events, and early access to new resources.
In two days, we'll send you a curated guide to our archives. In the meantime, save that playbook. And if there's a topic you're interested in, just hit reply - we read every message.
Happy hacking!
Phillip & Rozi
