I should have introduced myself

Hi,

You joined Daily Python Projects about a week ago, most likely from the list of publications Substack showed you when you created your account. Since then you have received a few of my posts, but I never properly introduced myself, so let me do that now.

I am Ardit. I have taught Python to more than 700,000 students online over the last ten years. In this newsletter I do one thing: every week I build one small, real program in Python and show you how it is done, step by step, with the full code.

The idea behind it is simple. Build small programs by hand, and you will understand the big ones, including the ones an AI builds for you.

Here is how a week works:

  • Tuesday: Day 1 of the week’s project. A working first version, free, with the code.

  • Wednesday: Day 2. The complete version. The post is free to read, and the code is for paid members.

  • Thursday: Python news. What changed in the language, the libraries and the industry that week.

If you have not built anything yet, pick the door that fits you:

  • New to Python: start with the roadmap, 20 small projects from the easiest to harder ones. Open the roadmap

  • You know the basics: build this one, analyze 550 real movies with pandas. One CSV file, one pip install, eight questions answered in your terminal. Open the project

Whichever one you pick, run it, then change one small thing in it and run it again. That is how I would like you to use everything I send you.

One request: reply to this email and tell me, in one line, what you would like to build with Python. I read the replies, and they decide which projects I make next.

Ardit
