🎉 Two New Betas: Document Provider for Android and FSKit for Mac

Dear community,

It’s the most-requested feature of our Android app, and now it’s here. With the new Document Provider, your vaults show up directly in the Android Files app and the system file picker. Other apps can open, edit, and save files inside your vault without a detour through Cryptomator. And of course, your files are still encrypted on your device before they reach the cloud.

There’s a second beta for Mac users, too. With FSKit, Apple’s own file system framework, you can show unlocked vaults as a drive with nothing extra to install. No macFUSE, no FUSE-T, no kernel extension, and no trip into Recovery Mode. FSKit support is experimental and requires macOS 27 or later on Apple silicon.

Before both land in stable releases, you can put them to work in your daily routine now and tell us what you think.

Thank you for your patience. 💚

Stay safe,
Your Cryptomator Team
