ZimaOS 1.7.0 Is Live

Meet the redesigned App Store, with smarter app discovery, easier app management, and native YAML editing. Self-hosting just got a cleaner, more intuitive experience.

Coming Soon: ZimaOS Photos

A private, ZimaOS-native home for your memories. Explore your photos by timeline, map, or collections, while local AI helps you rediscover the moments that matter. Your photos always stay private and never leave for someone else’s cloud.

A few more places worth checking out:

1. [Discord] — 43,000+ users swapping setups, debugging, and generally geeking out. Come say hi.

2. [ZimaOS] — free, open, runs on any x86 box. Flash it in 5 minutes and see if self-hosting clicks for you.

3. [YouTube] — builds, reviews, and the occasional teardown.

Next up: I'll send you a quick guide to setting up your first self-hosted app. You don't need a Zima device to follow along.

Best regards,

Lauren from IceWhale
