Android Dev Summit '26: everything you need to know

Our latest announcements from Android Dev Summit '26
We've built new tools to help you build smarter and faster, create agentic experiences, and reach users on every screen. Catch the keynote on demand or check out the highlights below.
Build with the agents and tools you choose
Bring Your Own Agent is now stable in Android Studio. Use any of 40+ compatible coding agents, with access to Android Studio integrations such as App Quality Insights and Compose UI tools. Then let the new AI Change Review catch issues before you commit.
Test on real devices with Android CLI
New commands available through Android CLI deliver access to physical device streaming, so your agent can connect to real hardware remotely and render Compose Previews without an emulator. Agents with access to Compose Previews finished UI tasks 77% faster, with up to 3x fewer tokens.
Give your agent Android expertise with skills
We now have 30+ Android skills to help your agent be more efficient on Android development tasks, from Compose performance to camera APIs and security audits. Thanks to Android CLI, Agents using Android skills perform 1.9x faster and use 1.3x fewer tokens.
Android — now in Antigravity, Claude Code, and Codex
Install the Android plugin to connect your agent to Android CLI, official skills, and Android capabilities in one step. In the Antigravity desktop app, see your live Compose Previews and running devices right alongside your conversation.
There's so much more to explore
